New Fiction in the Library


People who don't live in Florida in the summer have a hard time understanding why we consider this the "severe" season, with its high humidity and temperatures to match. If we can't sit on the beach, July is when we stay inside in the air conditioning, preparing our hurricane kits and hoping for the best. So, if you're indoors to stay cool and everything on Netflix and HBO is too dark, mysterious or disturbing and you're burnt out on binge watching, a novel is just the antidote.  We have some newer names along with our veteran writers with plenty of variety to choose from. And if dark, mysterious or disturbing is still your thing, a new book series based on Netflix's Stranger Things has been released, beginning with Suspicious Minds, pictured above.
